Entry impact + contemplative retreat
Two distinct garden areas were created in this design. To soften and add interest to the entrance area, a two tier retaining wall was devised, with a semicircular central area surrounding an elevated water feature. On the wall above, a large decorative iron panel provides further interest. Subtle lighting features key elements.
In another area a contemplative retreat was created. A serene feel is created using curved shapes and natural materials. A ring of standard crab apples provides a seasonal backdrop, and subtle evergreen border plantings help define the area.
